The weather was kind as Sway Tennis Club made its contribution to the national Lawn Tennis Association (LTA) “Great British Tennis Weekend” on Saturday 18 May at Jubilee Field.

Our Club coaches, Andy and Will,  worked very hard to bring over 100 visitors of all ages and abilities to our courts to enjoy a wide range of “family fun” tennis related activities. Three generations of the Nelson family took time out to pose with club mascot “Norman” the bear.

Club members, far too numerous to mention by name,  were on hand to greet visitors, help deliver the activities and to serve refreshments to hungry participants. BBQ and cake sales exceeded expectations and there was an encouraging take up of the new Club sportswear together with a popular sale of used match balls.
