Play To Resume 2nd December

Following the easing of the latest Government restrictions, tennis is now able to resume.   Sway LTC will be opening its gates from Wednesday 2nd December with court bookings available online again.  Singles, doubles, club mornings and coaching can all take place as prior to 5th November.  Social distancing guidelines must be maintained and hand sanitiser is still available by the entrance to the courts and must be used by all. Courts Closed Thursday 5th November – Wednesday 2nd December

The Government have announced new national restrictions to be implemented from Thursday 5th November – Wednesday 2nd December.  The restrictions will have implications for tennis activity and as such all tennis court bookings and coaching will not be permitted during this time.   We are following advice from the LTA and will update any further information and changes here.  We hope to be back on the courts as soon as possible.

Sway LTC Open Again!

After recent discussions with the Government and following the adjustment of lockdown restrictions, the LTA has developed a set of practical guidelines for venues, coaches and players to follow so that tennis can be played in England during lockdown, where the local environment allows.  Sway LTC will now be opening the courts again for members only from Tuesday 19th May. Craig McEwan Coach

Craig and Marian McEwan founded Sway Tennis Club in May 1984.  Craig has coached at county, regional and national level, with 3 of his former pupils gaining world rankings in the Men’s game and a Junior player achieving top 100 status.  He is a fromer LTA Tutor, Examiner and Referee, and has a special interest in and experience of wheelchair tennis at international level.  He holds academic qualifications in Education and Psychology and is a qualified Sports masseur and Reiki practitioner.
