Ideal for anyone returning to the game or who has moved through the beginner course with the squad focusing on basic techniques and tactics. Players will be given easy instruction to work towards being able to rally over a net and play competitive points. Further advancements in technique and tactics will also be given to intermediate players with more focus towards match play and an introduction to doubles.
Morning sessions are pay as you play and cost is £8.50 for a non-member and £6.50 for a member. Bookings are available 7 days in advance and are on a first come, first served basis. We must have a minimum of 2 bookings by 8pm the previous evening for the session to take place.
Evening sessions are booked and paid on a half termly course basis.
Craig and Marian McEwan founded Sway Tennis Club in May 1984. Craig has coached at county, regional and national level, with 3 of his former pupils gaining world rankings in the Men’s game and a Junior player achieving top 100 status. He is a former LTA Tutor, Examiner and Referee, and has a special interest in and experience of wheelchair tennis at international level. He holds academic qualifications in Education and Psychology and is a qualified Sports masseur and Reiki practitioner.
