Numerous adult coaching squads take place during the week for those wanting to start a new sport or improve their skills or just simply get a workout. In coaching squads technical and tactical training takes place in both doubles and singles situations. Those wishing to get a further edge on their club mates can arrange individual coaching.
MONDAY 7.30 – 8.30pm
For players that have taken part in one of our Tennis Xpress beginner courses or who are completely new to the game. Players will be working towards gaining basic skills with simple instructions in key tactical areas of the game such as rallying from the back of the court, serving & returning, approaching or at the net and opponent approaching or at the net. RUSTY RACQUETS (INTERMEDIATES)
Ideal for anyone returning to the game or who have moved through the beginner course, the squad focuses on basic techniques and tactics. Players will be given easy instruction to work towards being able to rally over a net and play competitive points. Further advancements in technique and tactics will also be given to intermediate players with more focus towards match play and an introduction to doubles.
Players are experienced at singles and doubles match play. An intensive lesson that covers all aspects of the game including singles and doubles tactics, technical instruction and mental strategies.
Cardio Tennis is fun, sociable group fitness classes set on a tennis court and open to people of all ages and abilities. Please note, whilst registration for each week is free online, the cost is £7 for a non member and £5 for a member. This is payable at the session. There must be a minimum of 4 players booked for a session to take place.
